EMDR Intensives
You're tired of spending the first 20 minutes of every therapy session catching up, and the last 10 minutes trying to pull yourself together enough to drive home. You're ready to actually get into it and come out the other side.
EMDR intensives are for the person who is done with slow. Whether you've been in therapy for years and feel like something still hasn't shifted, or you're ready to tackle something specific head-on, an intensive gives you the time and space to do the kind of deep work that a 53-minute weekly session just can't always hold.
Here's how it works:
Day One — Building the Foundation We don't just dive in. Day One is about making sure you feel safe, prepared, and ready. We'll spend our three hours together doing extended history taking, identifying the memories or beliefs we're going to target, and building out your personal toolkit of grounding and resourcing strategies. You'll leave Day One with a clear plan and the skills to manage whatever comes up overnight.
Day Two — Doing the Work This is where the processing happens. With the foundation we built on Day One, we move into active reprocessing using EMDR's structured protocol. We work through your target, install the positive beliefs you want to carry forward, check in with your body, and close out with integration. Many clients leave Day Two feeling a noticeable shift.
Intensives are offered as a private pay service at $500 per half-day session, with a two-day minimum of $1,000. A 50% deposit is required at booking to hold your dates.
